This is the first "mini-boss" within the Iron Man 2 video game. Working in conjunction with the concept artist and combat designer, I was looking to create a very current-day Military feel. The design is sort of combination of a Swedish "S" Tank, Israeli Merkava, and a USN Ticonderoga Cruiser.
This model was modeled, UV layout, texture and rendering done in Modo. The completed model was exported into Maya for rigging and in-game CGFX shader set-up.
Due to the massive size of the in-game character, the completed in-game model consists of 45551 triangle polygons and 9x 512 texture map sets for Diffuse, Normal, Specular, and Illumination.
